Aaron Feldman serves as the Owner and President for Lakemist Homes. After receiving his BA from North Carolina State University Aaron went on to work for one of the largest residential builders in the country. Aaron rose through the ranks into a management role within the Raleigh/Durham Division. During that time he attained his MBA. Throughout his career, Aaron has been ranked as one of the top new home professionals receiving countless regional industry awards and national recognition. These accomplishments were attained by creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for home owners. Aaron has overseen the construction/completion of over 150 custom homes in the Lake Norman Area. This includes homes ranging from $300k to over $4.1 million. Aaron is a licensed NC Real Estate Broker, NC General Contractor and a member of the board of Realtors.
As a member of the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) as well as the HBA, Aaron is dedicated to the new home industry. Aaron has been a member of the community service committee of SMC and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Big Brother/Big Sister. In addition Aaron is a regular participant in the Lymphomathon, Light the Night Walk and Race for the Cure. Aaron holds his NC General Contractors License.
Bobby Fertig serves as the Director of Construction for Lakemist Homes. Prior to joining our team, Bobby spent over 10 years in the home building industry. Bobby has managed and excelled in land development, construction, purchasing, quality assurance, and customer care for one of the nation’s largest home builders.
In addition to his broad industry experience, Bobby has expanded his expertise and industry knowledge over the years. Bobby graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, holds a Residential Builders License, and holds numerous industry certifications.
Bobby’s knowledge and skill set have allowed him to create a valued experience and beautiful homes for countless families.
Colin Chura serves Lakemist Homes in both Construction and Development opportunities in the Lake Norman Region.
Throughout his career he has produced condominium, townhome, and single family projects while being actively engaged in roles consisting of Construction Management, Finance, Sales, and Land Development with some of the largest National Builder and Landholding firms.
As a licensed broker; Colin has held various committee chair and board of directors’ positions within Industry Associations. He continues to combine industry service roles with philanthropic opportunities. Colin and his family are also active in community agriculture and volunteer programs serving children and veterans with mobility issues in outdoor sports programs.
Colin’s industry experience brings deep insight on what customers relocating from across the Nation desire in their homes and communities here in the Charlotte market.
Jim Feldman is the Founder of Lakemist Homes. Jim and his family have been residents of Mooresville, Lake Norman Area for the past twenty years.
To underscore his commitment to the local community, Jim has been very involved in several local charities. He served on the building committee for the new Dove House facility and is a past President of the Board of Trustees for the NC chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also served on the board of BAYAA, a local youth sports league. Jim has served is a two time past President of the Lake Norman Home Builders Association and is the Founder of Lakemist Homes.
Christy Garrett serves as the Design/Office Manager for Lakemist Homes. Christy received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She and her family moved to the Lake Norman area the summer of 2016 and enjoy all it has to offer.
Christy joined the Lakemist team in July of 2019. She manages the selection process for our homeowners by scheduling and guiding them through all of the design appointments. She enjoys helping our clients build their dream home.
In her free time, Christy enjoys hanging out with her husband and two very active boys. They love spending time on the water.
Stephen Nantz, Operations Manager at Lakemist Homes, is responsible for day to day operations including estimating, permitting, vendor and customer relations.
After receiving his degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Stephen started his career with one of the largest national homebuilders where he earned various awards. He has nearly 25 years of experience in a variety of roles with national and custom homebuilders. He has been responsible for building homes ranging in price from $200k to over $4 million in Greater Charlotte area.
Stephen holds a North Carolina General Contractors License. He has worked as lead builder for Extreme Makeover Home Edition and has also assisted in several Habitat for Humanity builds.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with wife, family and friends on the water whether its Lake Norman or on a beach.
Belinda Carpenter has been serving as a Construction Manager within the Lakemist Team since August of 2021.
